PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (POC) REBUNG BAMBU UNTUK PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN PAKCOY (Bassica Chinensis L.)

ABSTRACT

The aim of this research is to see the effect of bamboo shoots as Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) for the growth of pakchoy plants (Brassica chinensis L.). The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Agroindustry Department, Padang State University, Sijunjung Campus at an altitude of ± 450 meters above sea level. The research was carried out from March 2023 to June 2023. The design used in this research was a randomized block design (RAK) with 4 treatments and 6 replications, totaling 24 experimental samples. The treatments given in this experiment were: K0 control (without treatment), K1 LOF 80 ml /L water, K2 LOF 100 ml /L water, K3 LOF 120 ml /L water. The research data were analyzed using a 5% anova table. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf length (cm), leaf width (cm), and wet weight per plant (grams). The research results showed that giving LOF bamboo shoots after analysis had no significant effect on the growth and yield of pakchoy plants. However, the provision of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) had the best effect on plant height parameters with an average of 16.6 cm (K2) and an increase in the number of leaves with an average of 12 pieces (K3).
